For patients
What is a radiology second opinion?
An independent expert review of imaging you have already had — CT, MRI, ultrasound, or X-ray — by a consultant radiologist. It can confirm the original report, add subspecialty detail, or answer a specific clinical question raised by your treating physician.
How do I send my scan images?
Message us on WhatsApp and our team will guide you. Most patients share the original DICOM files from the imaging centre (CD, USB, or a download link), together with any previous reports.
How quickly will I receive my report?
Turnaround depends on the study type and complexity. Urgent cases are prioritised and clearly flagged — our team confirms the expected time when you send your case.
Is my medical information kept confidential?
Yes. Images and clinical details are used only to produce your report, are shared only with the personnel involved in producing it, and access is controlled. See our Privacy page for details.
What is the difference between CT and MRI?
CT uses X-rays to produce fast, detailed images and is often preferred for bone, chest, and emergency imaging. MRI uses magnetic fields — with no ionising radiation — and shows soft tissue in high detail, such as the brain, spine, and joints. Your treating physician chooses the study that fits the clinical question.

How do I refer a case to AwadRad?
Send the study and clinical details via WhatsApp or our platform. You receive a structured, consultant-reviewed report through your preferred channel — no setup is required for the first case.
Do you accept referrals from outside Palestine?
Yes. Teleradiology has no geographic limits — clinics, hospitals, and physicians anywhere can send studies and receive subspecialty reports remotely.
What imaging is available at Smart Radiology Center?
Ultrasound — including ultrasound-guided procedures, and on call around the clock for urgent cases — digital X-ray, dental CBCT and panoramic imaging, and HSG with an all-female team. CT is coming soon. The centre is inside Al-Manara Commercial Complex, Ramallah, open Saturday–Thursday 08:00–22:00 (closed Friday), with urgent on-call imaging outside those hours.
What is dental CBCT and when is it needed?
Cone-beam CT is a low-dose 3D scan of the teeth and jaws used for implant planning, impacted teeth, endodontics, and TMJ assessment. Cases from our Green X-12 are delivered digitally to the referring dentist with a structured report.
Are urgent findings communicated to the referrer immediately?
Yes. Time-critical findings are prioritised and communicated promptly to the referring physician as part of our standard workflow.
